WELLNESS CHECKS

Well child checks occur at regular intervals and are important in prevention, following both growth and development, and a great way for you to raise concerns as they grow. Typically visits occur at the first week of life (3 to 5 days old), 2 weeks of life (14 days old), 1 month, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24, 30 months, 3 years old and then annually until 18 years of age. We won’t leave any stone unturned and together we want to bring your child back to the running tornado they should be! We are here for your pediatric urgent care needs and open after hours for you!

VACCINATIONS

There are a lot of vaccinations and a lot of information on them as well. We are here to guide and administer from birth to 18 years of age. We also carry seasonal flu vaccines. For the recommended vaccination schedule by the CDC please follow the link below!

LAB TESTING DONE IN-HOUSE

There are a variety of in-house labs that are offered and are CLIA licensed, for others we will direct you or send it out to a local lab if necessary.

In-house tests: Rapid strep throat, Rapid Flu A/B, Rapid Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), Rapid Mononucleosis (Mono), Urine Analysis, Stool Blood Guaiac, Blood glucose, and Pregnancy testing.

RESPIRATORY ILLNESSES

We are very comfortable in treating a variety of respiratory illnesses from coughs, croup, stridor, wheezing, bronchiolitis, and asthma. If called for we can provide in-house breathing treatments, send out for chest x-rays, and even provide supplemental oxygen.

LACERATIONS, WART REMOVAL, & MINOR BURNS

Trauma? Urgent care needs? No worries! We patch up mild to moderate cuts with our arsenal of staples, skin glue, sutures, and more. We offer rash and/or minor burn evaluation and treatment, as well as wart removal. We are open later because we know these can strike at any time.

CONCUSSION EVALUATION

Concussions are scary and no fun. With ongoing studies in traumatic brain injury, we want to ensure that the risk is minimized. In conjunction with various pediatric neurologists and current recommendations/guidelines, we perform a highly detailed evaluation and follow up. We can coordinate with school officials, sports directors, and sports trainers to make sure they are appropriately ready.
